Information stored on your device

Salqyn stores the selected air-conditioner state, compatible infrared profile, language and theme, setup progress, and ad-removal status in local Android storage. This information is not sent to a VINCI server.

You can delete local data in Android app settings or by uninstalling the app.

Advertising and consent

The free version uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Depending on your region and privacy choices, Google may collect or share:

• an IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
• app interactions such as launches, taps, and ad views;
• diagnostic and performance information;
• device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID when available.

Purchases

Salqyn offers an optional one-time Google Play purchase that permanently removes ads. Google Play processes the payment. VINCI does not receive or store payment-card or bank-account details. The app checks only product information and purchase status needed to unlock the ad-free version and prevent fraud.

Permissions

• Infrared transmission: used only to send commands to a compatible air conditioner.
• Internet and network state: used for Google advertising, consent, and Google Play Billing. After initial setup, the infrared remote continues to work without internet access.

Sharing and international processing

VINCI does not sell personal data. The data described above may be processed by Google Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform, and Google Play Billing under Google's terms and privacy policy. Google may process data in countries where it provides services. Where required by law, the app presents consent choices before requesting ads.

Retention and deletion

Local settings remain until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. VINCI does not operate user accounts or cloud profiles. Google determines retention periods for data it processes under its own policies.

Your rights and choices

You can change available privacy choices inside the app, delete or reset the Android advertising ID, clear local data, and contact VINCI about access, correction, or deletion. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Children

Salqyn is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

Security and changes

Data transmitted by Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted with TLS. This policy may change when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The date of the new version will be shown on this page.
